Not long ago, Bleacher Report’s James Palmer said, “There still is, to my understanding, no guarantee that Tyreek Hill plays in 2026. I think it’s wishful thinking.” James Palmer added that NFL teams would closely monitor Hill’s situation. But nothing sounds imminent about his NFL return. The scope of the damage tells a story: his ACL, PCL, MCL, and meniscus were all affected in the horrific Sept. 2025 injury. That brutal injury combination creates a complicated and lengthy recovery timeline. It could keep Hill out for all of the 2026 season, if not for a major part of it.According to Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox, an NFL team could sign Tyreek Hill in the middle of a season. He could be signed by a contender like the Kansas City Chiefs or Los Angeles Rams who need a playoff push. But just as these stories were doing the rounds online, Tyreek Hill posted a YouTube video of his recovery, rehab, and workout.

Cheetah Reborn: Doctors told former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill that he might not be able to walk again

Tyreek Hill said in the video that he would decide the timeline. He feels good. He is feeling different now. The doctors told him that he would not be able to walk again. The doctors feared his future. But now, his timeline looks good.“Timeline looking real good right now, man,” Tyreek Hill said in the YouTube video. “I’m feeling different though. When they told me I may not be able to walk again. And the doc was like, bro, you don’t know what’s gonna happen with your future. And now look at me. Time’s good. Felt good.”It’s been 10 months since doing two surgeries [One in Sept. 2025 and second in Feb. 2026]. Hill injured his left leg. He feels no power in his left leg. He is trying his level best to regain all the power back in his left leg. But he is taking it one day at a time.“So, it’s about 10 months after doing two surgeries,” Hill said. “My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg at all. So, I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg, but it’s one day at a time. This is my first day of calisthenics. I haven’t run in a long time.”

Tyreek Hill performs unbelievable stunts in YouTube video

Hill ends the video by saying he would keep working hard every single day. He will be the one to tell everyone what his timeline is. And at the moment, the timeline is looking really good. “God be the glory. I’m gonna keep grinding y’all,” Hill added. “I’m gonna tell you what my timeline is. Timeline looking real good right now, man.”The video feels like a refreshing take on his recovery. The Cheetah feels like reborn, rejuvenated, reincarnated like a phoenix. The Miami Dolphins former wide receiver performed different kinds of stunts/workouts in the video.Knee-level deep waters and he pushes himself to climb onto the pool deck without the support of his hands, purely based on the power of his legs. There, his left leg does not look powerless. It looks reborn! From the horrific injury that he faced in Sept. 2025, where his leg looked as if it had been brutally twisted. So now that he is going to decide the timeline, can we expect him to join an NFL team soon?
