Luxury brand 'creates' foldable iPhone Ultra in 24K gold, some silver, and a lot more

Apple is widely speculated to launch a foldable iPhone this September. While the official foldable iPhone is still months away, luxury brand Caviar is already selling what it calls ‘reimagined first foldable iPhone’ version of it. The custom phone brand has revealed its “Flagship” collection for the rumored iPhone Ultra. Caviar’s iPhone Ultra comes in 24K Gold. The “Flagship” collection highlights the special position of the foldable iPhone Ultra within Apple’s lineup. For those unaware, Caviar is an international brand that creates luxury versions of Apple smartphones using precious metals, aerospace-grade titanium, genuine leather, and rare materials. This time, the company’s designers have reimagined the first foldable iPhone, enhancing its visual identity and tactile qualities. One of the features of the upcoming foldable iPhone may be a restrained color palette. Caviar expands the choice by offering four design solutions inspired by the colors of the Pro series and the traditional materials of premium accessories.

‘Reimagined’ foldable iPhone Ultra comes in four colours

The “Flagship” collection includes four premium versions of the device: Purple, fully Black, Silver, and a special Gold model with carbon fiber and an Apple logo made entirely of gold. The iPhone Ultra “Dark Cherry” combines purple crocodile leather with decorative elements plated in 24K gold. The expressive shade emphasizes the device’s unusual form factor and gives it a more vivid collectible character. Caviar’s artisans sought to capture the “Dark Cherry” color, which is expected to become iconic in the original iPhone 18 Pro.The “Titan” model is executed entirely in black. The body, decorative elements, and genuine crocodile leather form a unified monochrome composition. Its restrained design is intended for connoisseurs of strict aesthetics. The “Silver” version features an upper panel made of silver and an insert crafted from crocodile leather. The three-dimensional Apple logo is made entirely of sterling silver.A special place in the collection is occupied by the flagship “Gold” modification with carbon fiber and a three-dimensional Apple logo, dedicated to Apple’s 50th anniversary. The Apple logo is made entirely of 18K gold.As the rumours suggest that the upcoming foldable iPhone will resemble a compact book when folded, Caviar’s ‘Foldable iPhone’ too has similar design. To preserve the visual connection with Apple and emphasize the model’s belonging to the brand’s main lineup, Caviar’s designers have used a three-dimensional Apple logo across all versions of the collection. Another distinctive feature will be a new tactile experience: Crocodile leather aims to provide a comfortable grip and reduces the pressure of metal elements against the palm.
