Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has started the admission process for 49 distance and online programmes offered through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the 2026-27 academic session. Interested candidates can submit their application forms through the official admission portal, admission.jmi.ac.in. The last date to apply is August 10, 2026.The courses will be offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Learning (OL) modes.This year, JMI has introduced two new online programmes: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biosciences and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Admission to these newly introduced courses will be based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination, followed by an interview.The university will also conduct an entrance examination for admission to the MBA (ODL) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programmes. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on August 22, 2026.

JMI CDOE Admission 2026: Selection process
Admission to most undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes will be based on merit in the qualifying examination.However, candidates applying for the MBA (ODL) and B.Ed. programmes will have to appear for the entrance examination at the Jamia Millia Islamia campus. The exact examination venue and timing will be mentioned on the admit cards.Candidates selected for admission will receive confirmation on their registered email IDs. They will also be informed about the schedule for physical document verification.According to the university, document verification and fee payment will be held from August 31 to September 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete all admission formalities within the given schedule.
