At least seven passengers were killed and five others injured after a passenger bus caught fire in southern Vietnam early Tuesday.According to Vietnam’s ministry of public security, the 24-seat bus was travelling from Lam Dong province to Ho Chi Minh City when it suddenly caught fire. The flames spread rapidly, trapping several passengers inside the vehicle, cites Reuters. Several videos circulating on social media showed massive orange flames engulfing the sleeper bus. Firefighting tenders battled the blaze and emergency responders worked to bring the fire under control. The bus was completely gutted in the incident.Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. Authorities are examining the circumstances that led to the blaze while rescue and relief efforts continue.
