Liam Neeson’s action career

According to people, at 74 years old, Neeson continues his prolific streak in action filmmaking that began with the 2008 hit ‘Taken’. That breakthrough film launched a remarkably durable career in the action genre, with the actor demonstrating sustained appeal to audiences across nearly two decades. His recent work has expanded the range of action vehicles available to him, including a more comedic entry in 2025 and a science fiction comedy released last February.

His knack for handling action vehicles as he nears his mid-70s demonstrates his screen presence and the charm of an older action figure tackling complex moral dilemmas. His characters frequently carry a fatigue from military service or the aftermath of trauma, which lends emotional depth to the physical spectacle surrounding them. ‘The Mongoose’ continues this trajectory, positioning Neeson as a weathered veteran forced to confront his past while evading capture.

Liam Neeson’s upcoming projects beyond ‘The Mongoose’

Before ‘The Mongoose’, Neeson has another action vehicle scheduled for September 11, co-starring Zachary Levi in a thriller titled ‘The Fix’.
