Jordan starred alongside the late Chadwick Boseman in the 2018 film ‘Black Panther’. While his character, Erik Killmonger, died at the end of the first film, he made a surprise return in the 2022 sequel, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. The end of the film revealed that Nakia, played by Lupita Nyong’o, had been secretly raising her and T’Challa’s son.Wright stopped by Entertainment Weekly’s studio during Comic-Con and reacted to news that David Jonsson would be joining her onscreen family. “The news was really beautiful to hear because I have a personal connection to David,” she shared. “To see the full circle of that today, I’m still living in it. We’re both still checking in with each other about it.”
